  • 2 naval oranges (peeled and quartered)

  • 1 medium carrot (chopped)

  • 1 inch piece of ginger (peeled)

  • 1 inch piece of turmeric (peeled – or 1 teaspoon powdered turmeric)

  • A pinch of black pepper
